1. Education & Qualifications

1980 - Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Design. (Exeter University)
1982 - MA in Furniture Design and Technology. (Brunel University)

2. Working Experience

1980-81 - Teacher in Design, Vincent Thompson School, Exeter.
1982-83 - Freelance Designer based in Devon. (Including one-off furniture designs in
wood and three months working part time for a consultant designer on contract furniture prototype development). Studio practice commenced.
1983-84 - Teacher in Design, Tarporley High School, Cheshire.
1984-88 - De La Salle College of Higher Education, Manchester. Lecturing in the
Department of Design and Technology on B.Ed. (Hons), B.A. & B.Sc. degrees.
1988 - 0.6 Lecturer then Senior Lecturer at Liverpool Hope University College (Part
time with part time Design work and writing see below) Lecturing in the Department of Fine Art and Design on B.Des. and M.Ed. degrees.
